naked Babies by Nick Kelsh & Anna Quindlen
Pictures and words beautifully crafted into a wonderful book about babies. Even better, Kelsh and Quindlen are both parents, which qualifies them to photograph and write about their tiny subjects. Reasons to love this book include the elegant design and charming simplicity of the black and white photographs. A reason to feature it on the UnderDog site is because Falk and Kelsh are pals.
naked Babies is published by the Penguin Books USA Inc., 375 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10014
The Fist That Shook The World - The Cinema of Bruce Lee by Lou Gaul
If you have an itch to spend twenty bucks - and are a Bruce Lee movie fan - this is the book to own. Way more than a mere biography, The Fist That Shook The World is a revealing look into the life and film career of cinematic kung fu legend Bruce Lee.
Gaul's book is detailed, accurate and informative. It has over 120 photographs (117 more than presented in Jon Falk's location lighting book). Go figure.
Is this just another example of Falk blowing the horn of a pal who writes a book? Absolutely!
